With Datatrics’ Audience section, you can create segments to use for your advertising campaigns or your remarketing strategy.

Datatrics predictive fields are calculated through our algorithms and they comprehend Conversion potential, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer and Persuasion Types.

Keep in mind: If you want to create a segment that groups users who follow all the rules you set, you must click on “all the rules”.

If you select “one or more rule” the segment will be populated with users that meet at least one rule but not always both.

Segments based on predictive fields

Visitors with a high conversion potential (<50%)

If you want to target people who are most likely to convert, you can create a segment based on conversion potential. You can use this segment for your advertising campaigns and target a smaller target that is most likely to convert. You can also use this segment to send specific newsletters with new product collections to push the latest articles to customers who might be more interested.

How to create the segment:

Target profiles that meet (all rules)

Create a new segment → Add rule → Predictive → Conversion potential → “is greater than or equals to” (50)

Segment based on Customer Lifetime Value

Customer Lifetime Value is the total amount, both past and predicted, that a customer will purchase from your brand over time. You can use this segment to only target customers with a high CLV to reduce your ad spent and get a higher ROI. Example: customers with a CLV greater than X (1000).

How to create the segment:

Target profiles that meet (all rules)

Create a new segment → Add rule → Predictive → Customer lifetime value→ “is greater than or equals to” (1000)

Segment based on Customer or Persuasion Type

Another predictive field to use for targeting are Customer Types and Persuasion Types. You can create a segment based on them to show relevant content to specific customers. Customer Types indicate your client’s characteristics; on the other hand, Persuasion Types indicate the best strategies to persuade customers to reach your goal.

Customer Types

Within Customer Types, you can find groups such as Economical customers, who value more the financial aspects and try to find the best deals or Believer ones, who are more loyal and can be interested in new products. Find a detailed explanation of all Customer Types in this article.

How to create the segment:

Target profiles that meet (all rules)

Create a new segment → Add rule → Predictive → Customer Type→ “is exactly Economical’”

Examples:

  • Economical: send a newsletter or show an Ad with Sale items.

  • Believer: send a newsletter promoting new products.

Persuasion Types

Within Persuasion Types, you can find persuasion strategies such as Authority for customers who are easily persuaded through trust and testimonials of other clients or Scarcity for people who want more of what they can have less. Find a detailed explanation of all Persuasion Types in this article; check out this article for additional information.

How to create the segment:

Target profiles that meet (all rules)

Create a new segment → Add rule → Predictive → Persuasion Type→ “is exactly Scarcity”.

Example:

  • Authority: send newsletter recommending products highlighting the most liked products and also inserting clients' reviews or brand testimonials.
