When you create customized campaigns based on seasonal events, you can offer fresh and relevant content to your loyal customers and an engaging and personalized shopping experience for your new customers.

#1 Grow your email list

  • Early Newsletter Subscription

Growing your email list is extremely important to engage with your customers and share content they are interested in through your own communication channels. So start collecting email addresses before Valentine’s Day! This will enable you to create newsletters with gift ideas, discounts, or promotions.

  • Valentine’s day newsletter discount

On Valentine’s Day, create a themed Newsletter notification to collect new subscribers and promote discounts for this special day. You can make two different versions: one that directly includes a form to submit the email and another that redirects to a subscription form page.

#2 Referral discounts

Referral discounts are a powerful way to grow your business and empower your clients to spread the word about your website. If you use referral links, make sure to create a dedicated touchpoint for Valentine’s Day, insert a catchy but straightforward phrase, and you can also use animated gifs to increase engagement!

#3 Reduce bounce rate using an Exit Intent notification with embedded countdown

It’s crucial during this day to make sure that all the additional traffic on your website leads to an increase in conversions. To decrease your bounce rate, you can create a notification only shown when a user is about to leave the website.
