A unique profile ID must be added to all links in your emails, so we can identify a person when he visits your website from an email.

In Spotler's settings, you need to add extra parameters to all URLs in emails you will send in the future. The following screenshots show where to do this and which parameters need to be added to the email settings:

Name: profilesource

Value: Spotler

Name: profileid

Value: {externKlantId|}

That's it! Datatrics will now identify visitors as Spotler users when they visit your website from an email and also when the revisit. All (anonymous) historical events will also be added to the user/customer.
