As you probably know already, it’s possible to create your own automated email flows by using Datatrics email touchpoints. In this article, you will find the most important information regarding the statistics of this kind of touchpoint.

A/B Testing

The emails you send by using touchpoints will be sent to everyone regardless of the show or hide groups. Therefore, there are no control group statistics in the interface and no uplift of conversions.

Impressions and unique shows

The impressions indicator means the number of emails being opened by unique profiles within the flow.

CTR

The number of clicks is the number of opened emails. The CTR is the open rate. It is calculated by dividing the number of opened emails (clicks) by the number of sent emails (impressions).

So: opened emails ÷ sent emails = open rate.

Conversions

The number of conversions is the number of profiles converted after seeing the mail. The conversion rate is the number of profiles that had an impression divided by the number of conversions is the number of profiles converted after seeing the mail.

So: conversions ÷ unique shows = conversion rate

Currently, the UI of the email touchpoint performance may cause some confusion. We intend to improve this in the future.
