First, head over to https://app.datatrics.com/channel and search for Google Tag Manager.
Click on the green "Integrate" button and you will be redirected to the following screen:
Click on "Connect to Google Tag Manager".
Log in with an account that has permission to publish in the Google Tag Manager account you want to connect.
Allow Datatrics to access the data.
Choose the account, container and workspace Datatrics can use to add tags. Next, you can choose three tags you want to add to your workspace:
- The Datatrics Pixel (tracking script)
- Datatrics Ecommerce Tags (which uses Google Tag Manager Enhanced Ecommerce)
- Datatrics Universal Analytics Events (with this you can view all Datatrics events, segments and our A/B-test in Google Analytics). You also need to enter the UA-code you want to send these events to. NOTE: You first need to connect your Google Analytics account and add the custom dimensies.
If you want to do this for multiple workspaces and/or Google Analytics accounts, you can remove the channel and repeat the process. Since we will never delete data from your Google Tag Manager workspaces.
